Screening Process for New Projects
This process is applied to new proposals during our facilitated annual meeting or during the course of the year as new issues are brought forward for consideration.
Questions:
- Does the project enhance our local economies, environments and communities?
- Is the project inclusive and collaborative in approach?
- What resources are needed to accomplish the project? Do we have these resources? Are they renewable?
- Does the project pursue desirable, feasible and viable change? Can we have an impact on the issue at hand?
- How will we monitor our success and/or failure? How will we make appropriate adjustments (adaptive management)?
